Visa waiver for Seychelles diplomatic and official passport signed with Thailand |03 March 2018

Seychelles’ diplomatic and official passport holders will no longer require visas to enter the Kingdom of Thailand

A visa waiver agreement to that effect was signed this week by the newly accredited ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Seychelles, Cherdkiat Atthakor, and the secretary of state for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Barry Faure during bilateral talks between them.

Ambassador Faure described the signing as a milestone in the relationship of the two countries which is also a positive step forward in ensuring visa free travel to Thailand for all passport types.

During their bilateral talks a number of issues were discussed which would help to establish greater trade, commerce and most importantly people to people linkages.
