Bus accident at La Misère |06 March 2018

A bus belonging to the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) was involved in an accident at La Misère yesterday morning. No passengers were injured.

According to a statement from SPTC, the bus was travelling from Port Launay to Victoria when the accident happened.

The SPTC statement says the bus has been brought to the Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) for necessary tests as part of SPTC procedures to obtain an independent report.

At the time of issuing the communiqué, the bus was still at the VTS.

The Police and SPTC are conducting an investigation into the circumstance of the incident.

Meanwhile, all other SPTC bus services are operating as normal.
