Assembly to consider appointments of three ministers

The Leader of Government Business, Charles De Commarmond in accordance with Article 69(2) of the Constitution will today move to resolve approval for the appointment by President Danny Faure of three persons, namely Luciana Lagrenade, Patrick Payet and Billy Rangasamy as ministers.

It was on Tuesday April 3, 2018 that President Faure wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nicholas Prea, seeking the approval of the Assembly for the appointment of three new cabinet ministers.
