Female Kenyan national charged with importation of 202.2g of heroin |19 April 2018

The 31-year-old female Kenyan national who was arrested on March 31, 2018 in possession of 202.2 grammes of heroin has been charged by the Supreme Court with the offence of importation of a controlled drug.

When she was arrested in possession of the drug, the woman had just landed at the Seychelles International Airport from Kenya on board an Ethiopian Airline flight which transited in Addis Ababa.

She will remain remanded until April 30, 2018 when she will re-appear before the court.
