Sacos gets closer to the community through roadshows |23 April 2018

As part of Sacos Insurance Group’s new campaign, the company is bringing its products and services to the doorsteps of residents in a series of roadshows.

The campaign, which started in March and will run through this month, aims to directly sell and spread awareness of the various insurance products on offer to new and potential clients.

Sacos is also taking the opportunity to educate residents and local workers on the importance of being insured.

“By bringing our services closer to the community, we hope that people will be more comfortable to ask questions on insurance, clarify misunderstandings and seek further information in a relaxed setting,” said Jennifer Morel, the chief executive of Sacos Insurance Group.

Sacos partnered with the Health Care Authority to sponsor a “Person Centred Care workshop” on Wednesday 11 April.

As part of the sponsorship activity, a stall was set up at the English River health centre to service the local community. Local residents greatly appreciated this outreach initiative as they were able to gather more information on insurance.

Following the success of the first roadshow held at Perseverance, a second roadshow was held at SCAA, Seychelles International Airport, for residents and local workers.

Residents were offered a 15% discount on the Householder’s Content Policy with the purchase of a Householder’s Building Policy.

“We took the decision to focus on home insurance given the prevalence of fire and theft. The roadshow provided us with a unique opportunity to sensitise homeowners, notably tenants, on the importance of taking out insurance on their household items as well,” said Ms Morel.

Sacos will be looking to bring the successful campaign to residents of Praslin and La Digue, as well as targeting key businesses and institutions.
