Damaged underground high voltage cable causes power outage |16 May 2018

Damage to underground high voltage cable by a third party caused a power outage at around 7.30am yesterday, affecting a major part of the Providence Industrial Estate.

In a communiqué issued yesterday, the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) wrote that it back fed its affected customers through other electricity cables and managed to restore power within one and a half hours.

PUC has thanked its customers for their patience and understanding.
