Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Samson conveyed, on behalf of President Danny Faure and the people of Seychelles, warm wishes to His Majesty, the King and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the assistance and support accorded to Seychelles by the Kingdom of Belgium.

Ambassador Samson expressed her desire for enhanced partnerships in terms of tourism, education, agriculture and fisheries, business promotion, and cultural and sport exchange.

Noting that the two countries enjoy a strong relationship, King Phillipe extended on his part his warm wishes towards the people of Seychelles and expressed his desire to deepen the relations further.
