“I’m proud to stand here today and be able to hand over these educational books to the school. Through sponsors, I was able to get  sufficient sports gear to support the school’s athletes for the coming  Inter-school Athletics Championships, where I’m sure they will make their school proud. Overall, I’m very happy to be able to help Anse Aux Pins primary school,” said Mr Andre.

The set of educational books cover different subjects such as Mathematics, English and Science which will be very beneficial to the pupils.

During the ceremony, students from both the  crèche and primary classes performed songs which they composed themselves and thanked all for what they have been given.

Jana and William Kayeri, who are parents and have children at the school, said they have been following developments at the school over a period of time and they revealed that they are going to provide the school with a washing machine as there was a great need for one at the school.
