Swimming - Mass open water challenge set for Sunday |06 June 2018
After being crossed off the list at the recently-held Fédération internationale de natation (Fina) Marathon Swim World Series, the mass open water challenge competition has now been rescheduled for this coming Sunday at the Beau Vallon beach.
Abandoned due to bad weather on Saturday May 19, the competition was initially scheduled to take place the day before the 10km elite races.
Sunday’s event will be an opportunity to bring everyone together, swimming in eight categories.
They are 100m, 500m, 1000m and 2500m for males and females.
