Letter the Editor - Our system of education leaves much to be desired |11 June 2018

I refer to your article ‘Student achieves first ‘A’ in English Language at the SALS’ published in the June 8 issue of the Seychelles NATION newspaper.

While Joshua deserves our heartiest congratulations on his achievement and our best wishes of success accompany him in his studies overseas, is it not a damning indictment of our system of education that after all its years of existence the School of Advanced Level Studies has managed to produce only ONE “A” in English, which is supposed to be one of our national languages?
