Football: Division one league - Wins for Côte d’Or, LightStars |19 June 2018

It was almost the perfect weekend for football teams from Praslin with two of the island’s selections, namely Côte d’Or and LightStars registering wins in the first division league, however, Revengers failed to turn up for their match at Stad Linite on Friday.

On Saturday at Stad Amitié on Praslin, Côte d’Or scored five goals past strugglers Au Cap to add to their misery.

A brace from Malagasy Voavy and goals from Kassah, Andy Brioche and Yuri Bibi gave the Praslin side a comfortable 5-0 win.

In the other match on Saturday and this time on La Digue, a second half penalty by Mario Bravo gave visitors LightStars a precious 1-0 away win over Anse Reunion.

Meanwhile on Friday at Stad Linite, defending league champions St Louis collected three points without breaking a sweat after their opponents Revengers failed to turn up for their match.
