Incident at Barbarons involving SPTC bus and a motorcycle |20 June 2018

The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) has confirmed that one of its buses was involved in an incident with a motorcycle at Barbarons.

The incident happened at around 9.45am yesterday morning with a bus bound for Port Launay via Les Canelles.

The man who was riding the motorcycle is undergoing treatment at the Seychelles Hospital.

Two passengers who were on board the SPTC bus were treated at the Anse Boileau health centre.

Both the police and SPTC are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

SPTC personnel were present at the clinic to provide support to those involved in the incident.
