SPTC bus services for National Day activities |22 June 2018

The Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) has released details of its bus services for the National Day activities at Stad Linite.

With regard to the National Day show and parade on June 29, additional buses displaying ‘STAD LINITE’ will operate from the different districts to Stad Linite from 10am up to 4pm. Services will depend on load.

A shuttle service will be available from Victoria Bus Terminal to Stad Linite and back between 10am and 4pm. Boarding at the terminal will be on Platform S.

Drop off for buses from North, Central and West Mahé will be at the Ste Anne jetty and for those from South, drop off will be at Stad Linite’s South Gate facing the highway.

After the parade, all buses will depart Stad Linite at 9pm to the different districts depending on load.

Boarding for passengers heading South will be at Stad Linite’s South Gate. Upon getting at Providence junction all the buses will operate via Cascade.

Boarding for North, Central and West bound passengers will take place at the Ste Anne Jetty.

After the 9pm services, there will be no more buses available and SPTC is advising the public to respect the departure time to avoid inconveniences.

On Saturday June 30, additional buses will be available departing districts as from 11am depending on load. Shuttle service will operate from Victoria Bus Terminal to Stad Linite as from 11am.

Last buses will depart Stad Linite at 8pm to the Victoria Bus Terminal.

All bus services for National Day are paid services. Before 8pm the fare is SR7, after that the fare will be at SR10 as per normal night service rate.

The SPTC is urging the public for their cooperation and would like to emphasise that they respect the bus timings, they do not overload the buses at any time and that they use SPTC facilities in a responsible manner for their own safety and that of the drivers.
