President Faure holds bilateral talks with Mayor of Panaji |26 June 2018

President Danny Faure has met the Mayor of Panaji, Shri Vithal Chopdekar, in the margins of his State visit to India.

The Seychellois head of State and the mayor reviewed areas in which the capital of Panaji (Goa) and Victoria (Seychelles), could further broaden their cooperation bearing in mind the twinning agreement both Panaji and Victoria would embark on.

Both sides agreed to explore further cooperation in areas such as port exchanges, marine security, tourism and heritage preservation, culture and people-to-people contact and fisheries.
