Home Affairs minister meets UNODC official |12 July 2018

 

The Designated Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Macsuzy Mondon, has met the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Head of Programme Country Office, Juan Sebastien Marquez Garcia.

Minister Mondon and Mr Marquez Garcia discussed the various projects being undertaken by UNODC for the Police Force, Prison Service and the maritime and anti-piracy regional centres.

Mr Marquez Garcia will be based in Seychelles for the next two years.

Minister Mondon expressed her appreciation and reaffirmed the excellent partnership between the UNODC and the government of Seychelles.

The meeting was also attended by the special adviser to the minister, Sheryl Vangadasamy.
