Domino - Unity wins Mid Season Cup |13 July 2018

Unity took the win in their performance in the Mid Season Cup which took place last weekend at the Cascade Community Centre

Unity along with four other teams took turns facing each other in a best of six challenge where second placed Unity managed to win the majority of their matches, including their game against first place Takamaka, whom at the end of the first round of the Mohan Domino Legaue on top form, remain at the top of the league standings. Unity managed to grab the Cup sending league leaders Takamaka to second spot whilst La Salette occupied the third spot respectively. Unity managed to redeem their previous loss against league leaders Takamaka, after their recent loss in the Mohan Domino League where the two teams faced off at the Cascade Community Centre, where Takamaka was able to grab a comfortable 6-2 win against Unity in their final match of the first round of the Mohan Domino League.   

Unity was awarded with a cheque and also 12 folded chairs which were sponsored by Federal, while as runner up Takamaka settled for a cheque. With this momentum boost, Unity will look to snatch first place in the Mohan Domino league, as the second round is set to begin in September.
