Leverage band emerges from the shadows |13 July 2018

Many have been asking, who is the Leverage band? People were amazed by the band’s interpretation of popular music during the National Day 2018 celebrations.

That was the tip of the iceberg apparently. The group, formed in 2013, are no strangers to live performances and entertaining the crowd. Their album from 2015 ‘Vibrasyon ek Labyans’ has proven that they are also well versed in original composition. Since their debut, the group have performed in every major event in Seychelles and have also performed at private events and they haven’t disappointed with their repertoire consisting of Reggae/Blues/ Sega/ Ballad/ Dance music to name a few. The band, based at La Louise, consists of Jean Paul Cadeau aka Maestro, Micheal Marie aka Micko, Djen and musicians Jose Chang King, Dereck Louise, Lambert Albert, Dave Dufrene (Naya) and Alisha Ernesta.

On July 20, 2018, Leverage Band will be performing live at the International Conference Centre (ICCS) and this time they won’t be alone. Local stars Mercenary, Sandra, Isham, Regi and Kelly will be performing with the band and all music will be live - this will be an opportunity to see the band on their own for the first time. So for some hot and spicy local music, the place to be on Friday July 20 is the ICCS from 7:30pm. Tickets are already on sale at the usual outlets and at NAC or can be reserved on 2525362.
