Trois Frères nature trail information board unveiled |23 July 2018

People going on the Trois Frères nature trail can now have an idea of its elevation, distance and the duration one can take to complete it.

All the information can be found on a new information board erected at the foot of the trail at Sans Soucis.

Environment, Energy and Climate Change Minister Wallace Cosgrow and the chairperson of the Seychelles National Parks Authority’s (SNPA) board of directors Helena Simms, unveiled the information board in the presence of SNPA chief executive Selby Remie, representatives of the tourism department, Bel Air district administration, department of environment and staff of SNPA.

Made from recycled plastic, using SNPA’s brand, the information boards and accompanying direction posts will be placed on all SNPA trails.

This latest development which is vital for eco-tourism, displays SNPA’s commitment in ensuring quality visitor experience to the national parks.

The project to install information boards on the nature trails is being financed under GOS-GEF-UNDP protected area finance project.

SNPA chief executive Remie gave a brief introduction before the board was unveiled and he then explained the SNPA brand and explained to all present how all of SNPA’s assets will be branded and standardised.
