Escaped inmates recaptured |09 August 2018

Two inmates – Perry Confait and Alex Moses – who were attending medical appointments at the Seychelles Hospital escaped their escorts yesterday morning before being captured again.

The incident happened at 10am yesterday and the Seychelles Police were immediately notified and the two were captured at around 1.45pm yesterday.

Inmate Alex Moses was found in the vicinity of Corgat Estate, Mont Fleuri while inmate Perry Confait was apprehended at Les Mamelles. Charges are being made with the Seychelles Police.

Both Perry Confait and Alex Moses were serving sentences for burglary.

Moses who is serving a sentence until December 18, 2018 is known to reside at Au Cap, while Confait who is serving a sentence until June 12, 2026 is known to reside at La Louise (Basin Bleu), Plaisance area.
