HotShots reach women’s final

● AB Boys through to semifinals

HotShots are in the final of the women’s Round-robin tournament and they await to know their opponents.

Anse Boileau-based HotShots who won a bye straight into the final, will play either Mont Fleuri or B Challenge who face off in the semifinal on Sunday.

In the men’s division two competition, AB Boys guaranteed themselves a spot in the semifinal after defeating PLS Suns 106-33.

Following their dominating performance against PLS Suns, AB Boys will now play Cascade Bullets in the semifinal on Sunday. The other semifinal will be between Beau Vallon Bucanneers and Premium Cobras ‘B’ on Monday next week.

The men’s first division competition is yet to reach the semifinal stage but Premium Cobras and Beau Vallon Heat showed their worth with wins.

Premium Cobras earned a 10-point margin 77-66 win against Baya and Beau Vallon Heat grabbed a 97-71 victory against PLS Hawks.

The semifinals will be played on Sunday and will continue over the course of next week, while the three finals will be played on August 26 at the Palais des Sports.
