Weightlifting: African Senior Championship Three bronze medals for Bristol |17 August 2018

Team Seychelles competing at the African Senior Weightlifting Championships at the Pointe-Jérôme Youth Center in Mahebourg, Mauritius added three more bronze medals to their collection on Wednesday, courtesy of Hansel Bristol in the 105kg category.

Bristol snatched 80kg, before lifting 125kg in the clean & jerk for an Olympic total of 205kg.

Seychelles other contestant in action on Wednesday was Sirous Farabeau and he could only manage a seventh-place finish with an Olympic total of 230kg.

Farabeau who competed in the 94kg category snatched 105kg and lifted 125kg in the clean & jerk.
