Bernard Elizabeth appointed SCU chief executive |07 August 2013

 Bernard Elizabeth is the new chief executive of the Seychelles Credit Union (SCU) and his appointment takes effect on Wednesday August 14, 2013.

Mr Elizabeth, who has been appointed into the post by the board of directors of the SCU, will replace Emile Esparon. As required by the Credit Union Act 2009, Mr Elizabeth is a member of the board of directors of SCU and was elected at the annual general meeting in June 2012.

In a press release, the SCU says the appointment of Mr Elizabeth follows the decision of the board not to reinstate Mr Esparon as CEO.
However, Mr Esparon retains his positions as an elected member of the board of directors.

The board of directors has taken this opportunity to thank all members for their support and trust.
