Air Seychelles delayed due to technical hitch |14 August 2013

Air Seychelles flight HM 061, scheduled to depart from Mahé to Johannesburg at 8am Seychelles time yesterday was delayed due to a technical problem beyond the airline’s control.

A communiqué from Air Seychelles says that arrangements are being made to assist all affected passengers in Seychelles and Johannesburg.

Air Seychelles apologises for any inconvenience and has advised all passengers to get in touch with the Air Seychelles contact centre on 4381013.
The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority has said that Air Seychelles airbus A330 suffered some damage in one of its engines.

It added that it has already started an investigation into the matter.
