Petanque: League competition-Finals on Sunday

 

In all 15 teams – four ladies, six men and five juniors – have qualified for the finals which will be played at the La Promenade boulodrome.
Three of the six men’s teams for Sunday's triplette final are from Mahe and the others are from La Digue.

As for the doublette junior final, three teams come from La Digue and two from Mahe.

In the ladies' doublette competition, only one team from La Digue have been able to make it through to the final, while the other three are from the main island.
From Mahe, the Mont Buxton district has provided the most number of teams – two and five players – followed by Roche Caiman with one team.

Altogether, La Digue will provide seven teams for Sunday's finals.
Below is the list of all the teams and players who are to participate in Sunday's final.

Men:
Mont Buxton – Roland Renaud, Bernard Chang-Time and Joseph Charles.
Roche Caïman – Antonio Gopal, Antoine Botsoie and Auguste Louise.
Mont Buxton – Bernard Sinon, Ivans Anacoura and Patrick Françoise.
La Digue – Nasolo Jonah, Goldy Asba and Ericsen Larsen.
La Digue – Wilven Jean, Armstrong Jean and Desire Moise.
La Digue – Sibert Radegonde, Sonny Victor, Charles Louis and Justin Songoire.

Ladies:
Mont Buxton – Sheila Chang-Time and Livia Sinon.
Mont Buxton – Linda Sinon, Virna Fanny and Vynah Louis.
Roche Caïman – Vivianne Finesse, Sheila Adolphe and Dorothy Joubert.
La Digue – Innocente Elizabeth, Charline Radegonde, Fiona Ernesta and Ruth Moise.

Juniors:
Mont Buxton – Benny Chang-Time, Fabien Chang-Time and Nicolas Chang-Time.
Roche Caiman – Laura Joubert and Joshua Adeline.
La Digue – Raphael Ernesta, Evans Elizabeth and Samuel Servina.
La Digue – Hanif Bastienne, Ivan Moise, Stenio Ernesta and Allain Moise.
La Digue – Richard Tirant, Trevor Bastienne, Rama Ladouce and Carlos Moise.
