Passing vehicle lands boy in ICU |21 July 2004

According to the police the accident occurred at Anse La Blague, Praslin when the boy, Darren Mousbe, was attempting to cross the road from behind an SPTC bus stationed at a bus stop.

Apart from a fractured leg and scratches on both hands, the boy is also suffering from internal stomach injuries, according to the police.
His condition has been described as unstable.

When the accident happened the pick-up, driven by a 50-year-old man, was travelling in the direction of Cote D'or from Baie Ste Anne.
The police are investigating the incident.
