Heritage fair to promote traditional knowledge |27 May 2009
It will focus on knowledge that has been available locally for many years and has been handed down from generation to generation Seychellois have used it to meet their basic needs such as food, shelter and health, and it has ensured the identity and survival of the nation.
The Seychelles Heritage Fair is an initiative of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth, Sports and Culture in collaboration with the Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (Senpa).
The heritage fair, which forms part of activities marking FetAfrik 2009, will run from 11am to 6pm tomorrow and from 9am to 6pm on Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30.
