Firm’s donation to help child protection

Mr Camille hands over the cheque to Mrs Rene

The appeal came after the council received a donation of US $10,000 from local firm H. Savy and Company Seychelles.
The company’s director Mickey Camille handed over the cheque to NCC patron Geva Rene during a ceremony held recently at the Children’s Ark building – the NCC headquarters – at Bel Eau.

The donation coincided with International Children’s Day, which was celebrated on June 1.
The money will be used to educate the population about the importance of child protection through courses and seminars that will be run by the NCC.

Accepting the donation, Mrs Rene said the NCC is privileged to have H. Savy and Company as one of its faithful and key partners. She added that the money will be wisely used and will contribute greatly to the fight against child abuse.

Mr Camille said his company is proud to be associated with the NCC and the noble task it is carrying out. He added that they will remain committed and will continue to help the council in the coming years.

H. Savy and Company has long been a partner of the NCC, especially in building the Children’s Ark. The patron’s office there is named after the firm.
