Partnership with Kenya Airways strengthened

“The possibility of pushing twin-centre holidays with Kenya and mainland Africa is now more Ms Rosalie – the STB’s new Seychelles-based representative for Kenyaevident with the forthcoming increase in flights from Kenya from two to three weekly,” said Mr St Ange.

The extra flights were confirmed this week and come at the same time as the STB is moving to encourage safari and beach holidays as a twin centre with Africa.

Mr St Ange was accompanied at the meeting by the STB’s new Seychelles-based representative for that market, Sharon Rosalie, and together with Mrs Vidot they discussed the way forward to develop the twin-centre market.

Kenya Airways has, in the meantime, confirmed that the arrival of its third weekly flight is set for July 7. This means it will be serving the Seychelles route from Nairobi every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

A group of journalists from South Africa are expected in Seychelles on that inaugural flight to help push a Seychelles holiday via Kenya. The group will be accompanied by Glenn Lewington of Kenya Airways based in South Africa.
