He has been selected by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) through the Confédération Africaine de Volleyball (CAVB) as Seychelles will be taking part in the Games’ volleyball tournament.

“Officiating at African level is not new to me and I guess my performance at the previous Games was up to the required standard. This is why I have been selected for a third consecutive time,” referee Andrew told sports Nation yesterday.

“I take my responsibilities very seriously and I always try to make the best decisions in matches. Fair play is very important in volleyball like in every other sport,” added a confident Andrew.

Referee Andrew took up officiating in the early nineties and completed his referee candidate course in 1995, in Singapore. He received his international licence in 1999.
