Disabled to benefit from proceeds of charity gala |06 September 2011

This year the organisation is raising funds to help the disabled in Seychelles by providing access ramps and railings in the districts and in Victoria.

Among the projects the organisation is working on is improving the facility of the workshop that already exists at the Rehabilitation Centre at North East Point, where wheel chairs and other vital equipment get repaired.

“In previous years and indeed this year we have already delivered much needed items to the Seychelles Hospital, toys, books and other items to the orphanages and we now turn our attention to helping the disabled in our society,” a spokesman for the organisation said.
