Gold medallist in the 56kg division at last month’s Indian Ocean Island Games, Allisop said he is not disappointed with the result. He added that his aim was to win first bout, though he felt he would not make the final.
“I am a bit disappointed with the result, but not with my performance,” said Allisop.

“I am still young and I have plenty of time to prove myself in the future,” he added
The only Seychellois boxer left in the competition is Keddy Agnes and he was expected in action in the 81kg category yesterday.
