Plaisance crèche receives printer from security firm

The hand-over of the donation

Michael Esparon handed over the donation on behalf of the company to two crèche pupils in the presence of the school’s head teacher Cyril Pillay, the deputy head teacher of the Plaisance crèche, Marie-Josemee William, staff members and other representatives from Pilgrim’s Security.

“The reason behind the donation is that Pilgrim’s Security is an agency which helps to keep our school safe and as a return for the good cooperation from pupils and teachers alike, the agency decided we deserve this gift,” said Ms William.

In a short speech during the ceremony, senior crèche teacher Jeanette Vidot thanked Pilgrim’s Security for the “generous gift”.

Mr Esparon, senior operations supervisor at Pilgrim’s Security, said the agency wanted to go “just that little bit further” due to the continued support and help they have received from previous head teachers up to now in doing what is best for the safety of the school and its students.

“When we look at our statistics, we notice that this school has done particularly well in terms of security and we want to encourage the staff and students to continue working with us so as to maintain this level of security,” said Mr Esparon.

At the end of the presentation, children from the crèche sang a song of thanks.
