The Petit Amour villa is a spacious four-bedroom property belonging to Michel Benoit and business partner Jon Perkins.
Families and couples wanting a home away from home will surely enjoy their stay at the villa.
Those wanting a spa retreat or to host their ideal wedding in a secluded yet luxurious venue, then Petit Amour is the place to be.
Official opening
The villa was officially opened on October 20 by former Vice-President Joseph Belmont.
Among those witnessing the owners dream come true were secretary of state Barry Faure, who is also the chairman of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB); Russian ambassador Mikhail Kalinin; representatives from the STB and travel agencies; friends and family members.
Addressing the invitees, Mr Benoit said Petit Amour villa is a dream come true, as he wanted to bring a different concept to the Seychelles tourism industry.
He simply described it as a way of offering what Seychelles can present to a five-star client.
Peter Moncherry from STB said it is highly encouraging to see this concept as part of tourism development in the country.
Mr Moncherry added that it shows a way forward for others to follow.
Speaking at the event, Mr Belmont said the opening of Petit Amour villa shows how Seychellois can take chances available to them, to take part in the development of the country’s tourism industry.
He congratulated the team for such an achievement and wished them success.
The interior
The official opening ceremony was followed by a tour of the interior of the villa.
Impressed! The panoramic view of the ocean and the greenery surrounding Sorento were not the only breathtaking views.
The luxurious décor of the villa’s interior
The interior décor of the villa – a luxury itself – left many of the invitees speechless but yet smiling.
Jane Heath, the interior designer, used a mixture of modern European and colonial style for the décor.
Each bedroom has been designed in its own way, having its own individual theme. They are fully air-conditioned and offer a safe haven for a peaceful night’s rest.
There is a master suite, a mini suite and two double rooms – all having their own private bathrooms.
The villa also offers a gym, family room, the dining and sitting room, a laundry, a chiller room and a kitchen serving international cuisine.
World class services
To make their guests feel at home and enjoy their stay at Petit Amour, the owners have made sure to give their clients a taste of world class services, offering the whole package for €2500 per night.
There are four in-house staff to take care of the guests while at Petit Amour – a butler, a chef and two housekeepers.
A sunbathing area and a swimming pool are also part of the luxury villa.
