Present at the event were Social Development and Culture Minister Bernard Shamlaye, Investment, Natural Resources and Industry Minister Peter Sinon, culture principal secretary Raymonde Onezime, Ion Kid’s family members, representatives of sponsors, fellow musicians and friends.

“I decided to make an official launch of the album to let people know that it is already on sale. But the main reason behind the launch is to give people the chance to see an artist’s work officially,” Ion Kid told Seychelles Nation.

Ion Kid performed a few songs that feature on his new album, including the famous one entitled Mon’n War Ou, and the guests sang along.

The moment of the night was when Ion Kid and girlfriend Christelle performed a song, while their son Shaquil danced with the microphone.

Ion Kid took the opportunity to thank all his sponsors, the artists and musicians who feature on the album, and everyone who has helped in one way or another in the making of the videos, the album itself and organising the cocktail.
