Telly’s models share day of fun with President’s Village children

Sharing lunch with the residents

The managing director of Telly’s Modelling Agency, Terry Carolla, says the idea behind such an initiative is to get the children there interested in an industry which can bring them very good career prospects, mould their personality and build their self-esteem and confidence, help them to have different views about different things in life.

“At a time when we are talking a lot about social renaissance, I believe it is a good thing for the models to share their experiences with the children and bring out all the positive elements of the industry,” says Mr Carolla.

It will also help them to be more compassionate towards those who are less fortunate in our society, he adds.

The models left Victoria on a very early Sunday morning to reach the village in time to help prepare lunch and organise the activities they had planned to do with the children. These included face painting, a variety of games, a fashion show, among others.

Face painting was among the activities the models had planned for the children

For the games, which kicked-off soon after lunch, the children were divided into different groups named after various clothing material used in the fashion industry namely satin, poplin, cotton and mull.

After the games and fashion show, the models shared snacks and soft drinks which they had brought for the children.

The afternoon of fun and games ended with the models handing over a batch of educational games and toys to the children.

Mr Carolla says the models spent a wonderful time with the children and the experience will remain a memorable one which they, as well as the children, will cherish for a long time.

The management of Telly’s Modelling Agency would like to thank the management of the President’s Village for its cooperation to make this event a success and Senpa for providing the models transport to and from the village.
