Annual Children’s Christmas Carols Show tonight |22 December 2011

The show, hosted by President James Michel and First Lady Natalie Michel, is animated entirely by children from the President’s Village, the Foyer de Nazareth, the Foyer de la Providence and the National Children’s Choir.

This year’s show will also include performance by the new choir Les Rossignols which includes a selection of children from all homes and also the Count and Read Pre-school Choir.

As usual invitees will include senior officials, both from the government, the private sector, the main religious denominations and partners of the Children’s Homes Foundation.

At the end of the show, the President and First Lady will distribute toys to the children from the different homes and choirs while conveying their best wishes to them for a happy festive season.

The show, to be aired live on SBC television, is expected to last one hour. For this reason invited guests are being requested to take their seats by 6pm to ensure that the show starts on time.
