Carnival 2013 set for February 8-10 |10 March 2012
This year’s carnival -- co-hosted jointly by Seychelles and La Reunion – has been hailed a great success and work has already started on next year’s event.
Meanwhile we present photos of the floats that won prizes in this year’s Carnaval International de Victoria.
In the international category the United Kingdom’s Notting Hill float came out first, followed by La Reunion and Indonesia in second and third places.
Mason’s Travel was again voted as best local float, followed in second place by the Jj Spirit Foundation and Hunt Deltel in third place.
There was also a special category for schools where the La Rosière primary school won first prize and the University of Seychelles came out second.
