Central Bank deputy governors appointed |03 April 2012
Both appointments are for six years and took effect on March 14, 2012.
Mr Edmond has been in the post of Second Deputy Governor since January 1, 2012, and has worked with the Central Bank for the past nine years.
Ms Sullivan has also worked with the Bank for nine years and has been the head of Financial Services Supervision since early 2009.
The President appointed Caroline Abel as the Governor of the Central Bank on March 7, 2012; she was formerly the First Deputy Governor.
On December 27, 2011 the National Assembly approved amendments to Sections 2, 5 and 6 of the Central Bank of Seychelles Act 2004, which introduced the two posts of First Deputy Governor and Second Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles, in place of one post of Deputy Governor.
