Memorable children’s day at President’s Village

Miss Seychelles 2012 … Another World beauty queen Sherlyn Furneau, first princess Shanice Hoareau and second princess Natasha Robinson arrived at the Port Glaud children’s home yesterday afternoon accompanied by chief executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board Elsia Grandcourt.

Also present were chief executive officer of the Seychelles Children’s Foundation Noella Gonthier and principal secretary for social affairs Linda William Melanie.

They were warmly welcomed by the manager of the village, Jules Hoareau, staff and children.
During the event, children who had excelled in their studies and those who have shown effort were rewarded.

Those who have shown good behaviour at the village and at school also received prizes.
Mrs William Melanie presented the children with two hampers, while the crowned ladies gave out gifts and interacted with the children.

The children and guests then enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in a special party organised to mark the day.
