Boxer Allisop enters the frey tomorrow |28 July 2012

Allisop, who qualified for the Games and trained in Wales prior to going to London, will box in the light weight (60kg) category. By the time of going to press, Allisop’s opponent was not known.

Seychelles’ other qualifier, judoka Dominic Dugasse, who carried the Seychelles flag at the parade of nations during last night’s opening ceremony which was broadcast live on Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) TV, will be in action on Thursday August 2.

Praslinois Dugasse has been drawn against Henk Grol of the Netherlands in the round of 32 of the -100kg class.

In swimming, Aurelie Fanchette will swim in the first of five 200m freestyle heats on Monday July 30, while Shane Mangroo will plunge in the water of the Aquatics Centre on Tuesday July 31 in the second of eight 100m freestyle heats.

In track & field athletics at the Olympic Stadium, Jean-Yves Esparon will run in round one of the men’s 200m heats on Tuesday August 7 and Lissa Labiche will be in action in the qualifying round of the women’s high jump on Thursday August 9.
