'My Way or the Tri Way' Sprint Triathlon-Baldwin registers another win in Colorado |01 August 2012

Baldwin was also ranked third overall out of 350 athletes with an accumulative time of 1 hour 04 minutes 48 seconds (750m swim in 12 minutes 48 seconds, 12.5 mile cycling in 28 minutes 36 seconds and 3.5 mile running in 21 minutes 09 seconds).

In an e-mail sent to Sports Nation, Baldwin said he is very pleased with the race, which was another good test to see how his training is coming along.

His next race is on Sunday August  5 at Ironman 70.3 Boulder (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run), which, he said, will be a very competitive race.

Baldwin is in Colorado training at altitude for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on September 9 in Las Vegas and the Ironman World Championships on October 13 in Hawaii.

Baldwin qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships after winning the 20-24 age group and finishing 21st overall with a cumulative time of 4h51:53 at last month’s Ironman 70.3 (1.9km swimming, 90km biking and 21.1km running) in Wimbleball, Exmoor, Great Britain.

He booked his place at the Ironman World Championships during last year’s Ironman Western Australia in Busselton, in the south of Perth.
