Jean-Baptiste wins Lemuria golf tournament |03 August 2012
Sponsored by Constance Hotels Experience and Café des Art, the competition was played on the Praslin-based resort’s amazing 18-hole course and it attracted a good field of 36 golfers from Praslin and Mahe.
The winner was to be decided on the best gross score, meaning players with lower handicaps stood a better chance of winning.
With a beautiful swing, Jean-Baptiste played some steady golf to win the top prize with 27 points gross – one more than runner-up Godfrey Andrade.
Jean-Baptiste will have the chance to play in the MCB Open 2012 golf tournament in Mauritius and at the same time see in action some senior golf professionals who are currently playing on the European senior tour

The best net scores went to Peter Van Der Valk with 34 points (first position), Luca Bertoletti (second) and Jimmy Esther (third with 32 points).
The two closest to the pin prizes went to Dominique Bastienne on hole number five and Richard D'Offay on hole number 12.
