Emirates give back to community |08 August 2012

The donation of new bed sheets, shoes, mugs, bags and caps were handed over during a small ceremony held at the home recently.

Present to hand over the gifts was sales manager at Emirates Denise Rassool, representatives dressed in their flight attendant uniforms and other Emirates staff.

Ms Rassool said the company approached the home and asked what the children might need and is the basis for their selection of gifts.

It also forms part of the company’s corporate responsibility to give back to the community.

Three of the children -- Raphael Francoise, Andrique Florentine and Ryan Collie -- said a few words of thanks before everyone joined for refreshments.
