Young professionals meet to share ideas |20 September 2012

The first session was held on March 24, whereby the youths shared suggestions after identifying weaknesses in various areas.

Patrick Nicette, the director of programme development at the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC), said it is a chance for these young professionals to meet in a forum and to identify the contribution they can make at work, district and national level.

Mr Nicette said the young professionals are from various sectors, not necessarily meaning that they have university degrees.

Saturday’s session kicked off with a power point presentation on the suggestions made during their previous session.

Present at the forum were chief executive of the SNYC Vicky Van Der Westhuizen and director general for youth affairs in the Office of the President Fatoumata Sylla.
