Second division finalists known-Volleyball: Divisional Cup |04 October 2012

Their opponents in the finals of the competitions being organised by the Seychelles Volleyball Federation (SVF) are Juniors and St Louis Bombers.

In the first women’s semifinal played on Sunday, Rainbow eliminated Island Girls 3-1 (25-14, 18-25, 25-17, 25-6), while in the second last-four clash, St Louis Bombers defeated Bel Ombre on a similar 3-1 score. The set scores were 25-21, 18-25, 25-19 and 25-23.

In the men’s second semifinal, La Digue dropped a two-set advantage before narrowly edging out Outsiders 3-2 to book their place in the final. The set scores were 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 22-25 and 15-12.

Juniors had already reached the final a week earlier after beating Cadets 3-1 (24-26, 25-23, 26-24, 25-19).

All finals will be played on Sunday October 14 at the Palais des Sports.
The women’s division one cup final is between league champions Friends and Arsu, while the men’s is between Beau Vallon and Racing Club.
