Football-Porice hit with eight-match ban for shove |13 October 2012
The Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) revealed the decision yesterday, adding that the St Roch player has been banned for six matches with another two-match suspension for receiving a straight red card.
The incident happened in injury time of Porice’s side’s Barclays league division one match against St Michel on Thursday October 4 at Stad Linite.
Porice disagreed with a penalty awarded by referee Jean-Claude Labrosse and was shown a red card for dissent. Not happy with the decision, he approached the official and shoved him.
St Michel won the match on a 5-1 score, with Gervais Waye-Hive scoring a hat-trick.
