National Assembly-Minister Larue to answer eight questions |30 October 2012

In addition, Minister Larue will answer an urgent question from elected member for Cascade, Charles De Commarmond, on the reason the Ministry of Health is no longer able to do blood tests as before.

Designated Minister Vincent Meriton, who is also the Minister for Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports, will also deliver a statement on the Social Renaissance national action plan.

Three motions will also be tabled to the Assembly for debate.

Leader of Government Business Marie-Antoinette Rose will table the first two motions. The first is seeking the approval of the agreement between the government of Seychelles and the government of the Kingdom of Denmark concerning the status of the Danish military personnel in Seychelles in the framework of the military counter-piracy operations.
 
The second motion is seeking the approval of the agreement between the French government and the government of Seychelles on the status of the French armed forces in Seychelles in the framework of the military operation to protect the French fishing vessels.

Baie Ste Anne, Praslin representative Natasha Esther will table the third motion calling on the government to set up a drug rehabilitation centre to help young Praslinois who are suffering from alcohol and drug addictions.
