Basketball-RC Dynamics preserve their top-flight status |06 November 2012

After winning the first match on a 72-56 score on Saturday at Victoria Gymnasium, RC Dynamics did not have to sweat on Sunday to earn a second victory in the best-of-three play-off series. They won the second encounter by walk-over to preserve their top-flight status for at least another year.

Praslin Warriors had a good start in Saturday’s game, winning the first quarter 17-5, but RC Dynamics went on to dominate the next three – 23-12, 18-15 and 26-12 – to make sure of the win.

RC Dynamics had finished a place before last in the men’s division one league, while Praslin Warriors were the bottom division runners-up.

Second division winners Beau Vallon Heat will join the big guns in the top-tier next year, while Cascade Bullets will play second division basketball in 2013.
