Ramjothi group golf tournament-Micock wins inaugural Ramjothi tournament

Club captain David Deltel presents Micock with his prize

The company’s first sponsored tournament was played on Saturday November 17 at the Seychelles golf club, Anse Aux Pins.

Played under an individual stableford format in hot conditions, brilliant scores were recorded that reflected the players’ determination to win one of the many exciting house appliance prizes on offer.

At the end of the day, Eddie Micock emerged victorious with a superb net score of 41 points (5 better than his handicap!) with two ‘young guns’ Damien Hoareau and Jemmy Esther just one shot off. Damien’s card was compared with Jemmy’s, who both finished with 40 points, to determine second and third places, and it was Damien who had the most consistent round. All three men are single handicap golfers.

Other consolation prizes were handed out to Charlie Morin (nearest to the pin), Jemmy Esther (longest drive), Jerry Jean-Baptiste (best front nine) and Sunil Shah (best back nine).

The Ramjothi group, formed in Seychelles some nine years ago, trade in scrap metal exports, construction, construction material imports and water bottling. They have offices located in Le Rocher and in the Providence industrial estate.
