Pocket guide features 20 most beautiful beaches of Seychelles |21 December 2012

The publication by Charlotte Pavard, daughter of well-known photographer Claude Pavard, is printed on a special printed paper (PVC) and in numeric format with a characteristic of being waterproof designed to be read on the beach.

The pocket size guidebook is published in French and in English.
Claude Pavard stressed that the ranking of the beaches on Mahe, Praslin, La Digue and the outer islands is “a combination of personal choice and the beaches sceneries, the powdered sand and turquoise water”.

The author of best seller ‘Aldabra’ said that “despite being small and easily displaced, the PVC paper is washable from any products such as sun cream”.

Printed in the Alsace and Lorraine regions of France, Colmar’s Seychelles top-20 beaches pocket guide -- ranking beaches like Beau Vallon, Grand Anse and Anse Royale on Mahe, Anse Volbert and Anse Lazio on Praslin, Anse Source d’Argent and Anse Marron on La Digue and others on Denis and Bird -- is sure to be a sought-after publication by visitors.

It also gives a small description of the beaches, their location, the available facilities such as restaurants hotels and contact persons.

Copies of the French and English versions of Seychelles’ 20 most beautiful beaches were presented by Claude Pavard to Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St Ange.

The pocket guide has emerged to be a unique collection on the market is being sold in bookshops.
